An initiative lead by Stefan Esser, a german security expert, will be revealing security issues in both PHP itself and well known/widespread PHP-applications throughout the month of May. They have nicknamed it "the Month of PHP Security" - or "MOPS" for short - and the goal is to reveal at least one vulnerability each and every day of the month in order to help improve the overall security of PHP around the world.

More information on this can be found here: http://www.php-security.org/index.html

If you ask me it's a very good and much needed initiative, and a good read for anyone interested in / concerned about security. :)
