This forum is set up as a "Read only" archive, for the simple reason that we would like some control over the quality of what goes into it.
If you have a useful how-to or tip that you would like to include here; simply post it in our General PHP Talk - and an administrator or moderator will move your topic into the F.A.Q. section if it is deemed suitable.
Generally the requirements are:
a) It needs to be of good code quality, meaning that it follows good PHP practices for tidy, secure and efficient code.
B) It should cover a subject that might be useful for other readers.
c) It should cover a subject which is not already included in the F.A.Q. section, OR provide a better method than the existing thread (in which case it will replace it).
We appreciate user-contributions, so it is an excellent way of earning a positive reputation.
How can I contribute to this forum?
